Inzx includes a state-of-the-art lyrics engine powered by the BetterLyrics TTML karaoke system, querying 15+ providers with automatic fallback, real-time AI translation, and transliteration.

Syllable & Word-Level Sync

• Word-by-word karaoke (TTML): Every individual word and syllable smoothly lights up in real time with high-precision timing, powered by the BetterLyrics TTML engine.
• Line-synced: The active lyric line glows and centers itself as playback progresses, complete with smooth elastic scrolling.
• Background vocals & ad-libs: Secondary vocal harmonies, ad-libs, and backup singers are formatted on separate subdued lines to preserve primary readability.
• Instrumental breaks: Prolonged guitar solos and instrumental gaps display animated dot pulses rather than static dead air.

AI Translation & Romanization

Understand music in any foreign language with built-in AI translation:

• Supported Providers: Connect your own API key for Google Gemini, DeepL, or OpenRouter.
• Zero Telemetry: Your API keys are encrypted locally using Android Keystore / Flutter Secure Storage and requests go straight from your device to the chosen AI provider.
• Transliteration: Automatically converts non-Latin scripts (Japanese Kanji/Hiragana/Katakana, Korean Hangul, Cyrillic, Hindi Devanagari, Arabic, and more) into Romanized phonetic text so you can sing along.
• Bilingual Display: Displays the AI translation or transliteration directly beneath each original lyric line.

Lyric Providers & Fallback

Inzx queries multiple community and official lyrics databases concurrently:

LRCLib, Musixmatch, Genius, KuGou, Megalobiz, YouTube Captions, and Embedded ID3 Tags.

If the default matched lyrics are incorrect or poorly timed, tap the lyrics menu (⋯) to manually select any alternative provider from the results list.

Offset Calibration & Navigation

• Timing Offset: If a lyrics track runs slightly early or late, use the +/- millisecond offset slider in the lyrics menu to calibrate sync.
• Tap to Seek: Tap any lyric line to jump playback directly to that exact timestamp in the song.
• Auto-Scroll Resume: You can freely scroll the sheet up or down to read upcoming verses; after 4 seconds of inactivity or tapping the Auto-Scroll button, the sheet smoothly snaps back to the singing line.
