Signing in
Inzx has a single sign-in: your Google account, through YouTube Music. You sign in once and it covers your library, listening history, profile and Jams.
What signing in gives you
- Your library: liked songs, playlists, albums, artists and subscriptions.
- Listening history: what you play in Inzx shows up in your YouTube Music history and shapes your recommendations.
- Personalised home: Quick Picks, mixes and "Listen again" based on your account.
- Profile & Jams: your name and photo, and the ability to start or join Jams.
How it works
Tapping Sign in with Google opens Google's own sign-in page for YouTube Music inside the app. Inzx never sees your password: once you're signed in, it keeps the session YouTube Music gives it on your device (encrypted) and uses it to talk to YouTube Music the way the website does.
Older versions asked you to sign in twice: once with Google Sign-In (for your profile and Jams) and once to YouTube Music (for your library). Google Sign-In can't give an app access to YouTube Music, so the YouTube Music sign-in was always needed. Now it's the only one, and your profile and Jams identity come from it too.
Brand accounts
If you pick a brand channel while signing in, Inzx uses that channel for your library and history.
Signing out
Settings → Sign out. This removes the saved session from your device; your YouTube Music account itself isn't touched.
